P M Buchan acted as a columnist for Starburst Magazine, the world's longest running magazine of sci-fi, fantasy and horror, from issue 370, May 2011, to issue 396, January 2014, also contributing one-page comic strips for each of the printed issues, with artists including D W Frydendall, Martin Simmonds, Leonie O'Moore and Joe Whiteford.
